The Place

Antarctica is one of the last remaining pristine wilderness areas on this planet and I have been lucky enough to sail there twice with Fair Projects working with Sea Shepherd. When we arrived there, I had the feeling that I had interrupted some important business, it felt eerie, open, yet totally still and powerful. While Antarctica is at the bottom of the world, it is clearly in charge. Looking after this ecosystem is looking after existence on this planet.

The Photographs

I have thousands of photos from my time in Antarctica but here is a collection of my favourites; from the Southern Ocean, the Antarctic continent, and Scott Island. If you would like to see more you can follow the links through to my Icebergs or Sea Shepherd gallery.
